What I Do

Heritage Filmmaking

I create calm, atmospheric videos exploring historic places, old buildings, and the hidden character of the landscape.

Drone Photography & Aerial Filming

I capture calm, atmospheric images and aerial views of heritage sites, villages, countryside locations, and local landmarks.

Whether I’m using my DJI Mini 5 Pro or shooting on the ground, my focus is always on mood, history,

and the quiet details that bring a place to life.

Local History & Hidden Places

I explore the stories behind the places around us — sometimes well‑known, sometimes forgotten.

Community Events & Carnivals

I also enjoy photographing and filming local events.

Last year I covered three carnivals, and I love capturing the energy, colour, and community spirit that comes with them.

These projects are always fun and a great way to support local groups.

The Heritage Podcast

A calm storytelling podcast where I share the history, atmosphere, and personal experiences behind my filming locations.

Photography by Request (Not a Business)

From time to time, people ask me to photograph weddings, events, or special occasions. I’m always happy to help when I can.

I don’t operate as a business, so I don’t charge set fees. If someone would like to offer a contribution towards fuel costs or a small voucher, it’s always appreciated but never expected.

Photography is something I enjoy, and I’m glad to help when the opportunity comes up.

Listen to The Heritage Podcast as a passionate photographer, I specialise in capturing the beauty and history of heritage sites, including churches, abbeys, and forts. After retiring due to ill health, I discovered my love for flying DJI drones, and now I proudly own the latest Mini 5 Pro. It's incredible how this new venture has reignited my creative spirit, allowing me to explore and document local treasures that might otherwise be overlooked.

Every outing is an adventure, and I aim to capture the essence of each site through my lenses. I often return with a wealth of footage that I carefully edit and share on YouTube, as well as through my podcast. What began as a simple hobby has grown into a fulfilling creative pursuit that I truly cherish.

I also offer photography services for weddings and special occasions. As I am currently on benefits, I don’t charge set fees — I simply ask for a contribution towards fuel costs. It’s my way of staying creative, helping others, and continuing to do what I love.

🌿 MY APPROACH MY APPROACH

I like to keep things simple, relaxed, and genuine. Whether I’m filming a heritage site, flying my drone, capturing a carnival, or taking photos at a special event, I work at my own pace and focus on the atmosphere of the moment.

I’m not a business — I create because I enjoy it. Everything I do is built on patience, care, and a real appreciation for the places and people I’m photographing. I try to capture the mood, the history, and the small details that make each location or event unique.

My goal is always the same:

to tell a story through calm, honest images and film
